Description

The Neighborhood Church exists to serve those in need in the Northside of Syracuse by showing and sharing Jesus with them. This ministry began in 2013, when Ronnie Wyatt and his family moved to the Northside and began opening their home, serving meals, leading Bible studies, and meeting basic needs in the community. They provide a free meal every Saturday evening, followed by Adult and Children’s Bible Studies, along with a variety of efforts to serve those who are hurting and feeling hopeless.

Vision: To help people become faithful followers of Jesus regardless of racial, social or economical differences.

Volunteer Impact

Volunteers of The Neighborhood Church are making a difference in Syracuse by supporting the following efforts:

Saturday Dinner and Bible Study is offered every week and includes a free meal, a loving community, a program for kids, and time spent together learning from God’s Word.

The Food and Clothing Pantry offers bread, an assortment of clothes, and other items on a regular basis for anyone in the community.

Blessings Bags are assembled with a collection of non-perishable items and distributed to those who are homeless as a way to bless others without expecting anything in return.
