Description
Child Evangelism Fellowship (CEF) is passionate about transforming the lives of children and ministering to the community. For over 80 years God has been using CEF to bring the love of Jesus Christ to children around the world. CEF partners with local churches and mobilizes volunteers by providing training, resources, and a proven plan to impact kids.
Volunteer Impact
Volunteers of CEF are making a difference in Syracuse by supporting the following efforts:
Good News Club at Local Elementary Schools
CEF works with local churches to adopt a local school. Each week a team of trained volunteers presents an exciting Bible lesson along with songs and other activities focused on the lesson’s theme. The typical club takes place one day per week right after school and lasts for about 1 1/2 hours.
Summer Park Ministry
During the Summer, CEF works with local churches to serve inner-city children by providing a kids’ club in the park. Some clubs are offered one day per week throughout the summer, while others take place for five consecutive days. Each club includes dynamic Bible lessons, creative learning activities, inspiring stories, and meaningful songs.
